The Bipolar Schizophrenia is a Schizophrenic disorder, also known as mania or the mood disorder. This psychiatric diagnosis may also be defined as the disorder with the presence of the multi clinical mood conditions. The depression of the person is a common symptom of this disorder. It has been observed that the disorder commences in people in their young adulthood or in the late adolescence.

Just as in the cases of other Schizophrenia, the cause happens to be the genetic inheritance from the maternal carrier to the child. And the environmental hazards are also a major cause of this disorder. The chemical imbalance in the different parts or neurons of the brain is also considered as the major reason for the cause of the disorder.

The affected person passes through a depressive phase with regular feelings of anxiety, anger, sadness, hopelessness, loneliness, loss of interest in the enjoying activities, insomnia, fatigues, and appetite etc. The depression caused to the person may be lethal for him/her as the person starts to make suicidal attempts. It has been surveyed that the Bipolar Schizophrenia affects about 3 % of the adults and about five million people has been affected in USA.

The treatment should be started in the initial stage, otherwise the disorder may be turn out to be a long time disorder for the affected person. The treatment for the Bipolar Schizophrenia is performed under the supervision of the psychiatric experts. The mood stabilization method is considered as the first step to start medication of the disorder. The antipsychotic drugs are also used to medicate and cure most of the positive symptoms of this disorder.

Some experts use the psychotherapy techniques on the patient. However, there have not been any biological tests to find the bipolar disorder in the human beings so that the identification of the disorder may take a long time. It may be several years to recognize and the condition of the patient becomes worse day by day.
