Residual Schizophrenia is considered as the negative type of schizophrenia in its category. The affected patients suffer a mental disorder and loose interest in life. The patient does not interact with the other folks and shows irritation. The person may be affected by the Residual schizophrenia, if he has been affected by the other prominent schizophrenia such as the paranoid, undifferentiated, catatonic schizophrenia etc.

This can be found out from the fact whether the affected person is showing the other characteristics such as delusions, hallucinations or other mental disorder. Moreover, the residual schizophrenia is not considered as the dangerous one as it is usually discovered at the last stage of the diagnosis.

During the Residual schizophrenia, the patient looses his/her severity in the mental chromic disorder. Due to lesser activeness of the symptoms of the scizophrenia category, the patient may be well treated by a psychiatric. The treatment must be done by the psychiatric expert, taking utmost care of the patient suffering from Residual schizophrenia. The patient may be well kept in a psychiatric hospital, under the supervision of the psychiatric experts and other support staffs. However, the treatment may be also done for the patient in a familiar environment, in presence of the close relatives.

The family members should show the sympathy and empathy and try to make the affected person feel normal. As the Residual schizophrenia is not considered to be the extreme case, the person may lead his life actively at work, in college, office, or at home. The people with the high rate of activeness and functioning in their normal life prior to this schizophrenia can be diagnosed easily. Moreover, women have well prognosis of it. On the contrary, the dull, abnormal condition of the person during his childhood days takes a long time for the treatment of the Residual schizophrenia.

The experienced psychiatric expert observes the patient in his psychometric test continuously. The symptoms of the poor verbal capacity, less eye contact, lack of initiation capacity, auditory problems, poor facial expression or non verbal communications, ineffective body postures, social segregation, negligence to the self hygiene and activities and other mental disorders are observed in the psychometric test. These are proved with the evidence from the close relatives and family members during at least 1 year duration of time.

However, the lesser severity of these activities makes the psychiatric diagnosis easy, yet time taking. At last, the diagnosed patients behave normally in the society and at work place, though they may have been initially diagnosed to be affected by the Residual Schizophrenia.

Schizophrenia is a deadly unceasing severe brain disease, which hampers the thought process of an individual to irreparable levels, and it can lead to countless adverse effects. Schizophrenia is not limited to any particular geographic location, and is prevalent worldwide.

The Schizophrenic patients usually exhibit distinct behaviour of delusion, hallucination, and other similar phenomena, and are mostly reported to be prevalent amongst those who’re suffering from this chronic disorder

Some of the commonly misspelled words for Schizophrenia include Schitzophrenia and Scizophrenia. Schizophrenia is also often confused with Split Personality, but it is just a common misconception and there’s nothing like Schizophrenic patients behave the infamous Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde switch in character.

Moreover, the patients suffering from Schizophrenia are known to see or hear weird things in their lives on certain occasions, while they still lead a normal life and behave perfectly well otherwise. The specific causes of this chromic disorder are not very well known, while the origin of various types of Schizophrenia has been roughly analyzed by the medical experts.

On the other hand, looking at the tests and symptoms for detecting presence of Schizophrenia, you can find a number of standard tests, which may easily distinguish a person suffering from Schizophrenia, from those who are mental patients, or suffer from multiple split-personality or other similar disorders.

There are various categories of Schizophrenia, are there symptoms, causes, treatments and other relevant considerations for each of them varies greatly, as each form of this disorder varies considerably from the other ones.

If you happen to notice strange behaviour exhibited by a known person, make sure that you advise them to refer to a good specialized doctor. Furthermore, it is very essential to take proper medication until all the symptoms of this disorder are completely eliminated, as the patients are known to suffer from Schizophrenia for a long time. As a result, discontinuing medication after a long period of treatment, may actually lead to recurrence of the disorder, and things may easily worsen again within a short period of time. Therefore, it is very crucial to get rid of the disease completely, and continue medication for sometime, even if you feel the disorder ceases to exist!

The treatments of Schizophrenia are usually very long-term in nature, and it is not possible to cure Schizophrenia within couple of months. As a matter of fact, the duration of curing the disease usually lasts for over an year or two, on most of the occasions.

The Schizophrenic Disorder is a mental abnormality reflecting various natural symptoms of disorder such as the hallucinations leading to the abnormal hearings, psychosis disorder, though disorder, false beliefs or delusions, emotional arousal, motivation disorder and social and work dysfunctions. The experts reveal that the reason of the disorder may be the environmental situations and the hereditary effect.

The disorder affects the young mass and may continue to dwell for a long duration on them. The onset of the disorder is about 18 on men and 25 for women. Sometimes, the childhood schizophrenic disorder and disorder in age above 70 are also observed. Considering the economical and social disorder, it has been found that the Schizophrenic disorder is a vulnerable disorder on the human beings. However, the disorder affects only the 1 percentage of the population equally both men and women in its worse clutches. If the disorder is not properly treated, the affected persons may detach themselves from their family members and friends and may commence to live on the roads and streets.

The mental health researchers feel that the schizophrenic disorder is a single type of disorder but many experts talk about it as the disorder or a syndrome having a collection of symptoms and disorders. The subtypes of this disorder have been named as the Schizophreniform disorder, Brief psychotic disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, and Schizotypal personality disorder. Depending upon the past activities and behavior of the person, the psychiatric experts start to treat the affected persons. The treatment may be involving the intake of antipsychotic drugs regularly under the supervision of the prescription, rehabilitation process of the patient, family and friends supporting activities, and the use of the psychotherapy.

In case of the severe ness of the disorder, the person is kept in the hospital for a longer duration, in order to treat the patient with utmost care. The severe ness of the Schizophrenic disorder may lead to the homelessness, abuse of substances surrounding the affected person and poverty due to the isolation from the office and business activities. The effective treatment of this disorder starts after observing the patient for one to six months. The problems regarding the concentration in work, remembering, planning, organizing, and problem soling in the works, not focusing the advises and orders from the surrounding people, following certain clips from the television shows, inability in decision making are the most dangerous aspect of the Schizophrenic Disorder. Hence the patient should be medicated with utmost sympathy and empathy.

The Scizophrenia may be defined as the psychotic abnormality or disorder involving the major disorders in a young adults and child groups. The symptoms are disorders in reality of person leading to the hallucinations and delusions about the surrounding environment. The schizophrenia may be described as the major thought disorder of the affected person. It has been surveyed that the schizophrenia causes morbidity in 1 percentage of men and women in the total world population.

If a person has been affected by certain disorders such as the disorganized speech, hallucinations, delusions, disorganized behavior and other negative symptoms for at least one month, the psychiatric experts and mental health professionals try to diagnose them. The schizophrenia disorder can be well defined for a patient with the negative symptoms of the speech, mental activity, motivation, social drive, interest in the daily activities and other emotional contexts. However, these symptoms of the schizophrenic disorder are most phenomenal in the group of youngsters representing the high school students. Moreover, the people showing these symptoms may be considered normal in daily life but the diagnosis is very much necessary to prevent the disorder to be worsened.

It had been observed that the adult women are getting these symptoms of schizophrenic disorder regularly in comparison to the adult men. Even the disease may affect the women group of age above 40 years.
The affected woman shows the sadness, depression, anger and loneliness whereas the men are showing the lack of interest in social and daily activities. So the schizophrenia can be well observed and defined in the case of the lawyers, politicians, doctors, psychiatrics, children below age five, women between 30-35 age and adult man of more than 70.

The schizophrenia also causes the pain and suffering of the physical condition of the patient. The mental professionals may not observe the pain in the body of the patient but the disordered persons try to commit suicide under the burden of the pain caused due to the schizophrenia. It has been observed that about half of the suffered persons are prone to the suicidal activities. Some experts advise to keep the affected person far from the psychiatric treatments very often as the often visiting to the mental health professional cause fatigue in the patient and that may be the reason of the suicide attempt. So the defined schizophrenia is really hard to diagnose due to the complicacy of it.

Schizophrenia is big rational disease that causes variations in observations, ideas and as well as the usual activities of a person.

As far as the categorization is concerned, it is widely divided into two categories. The first one is termed as sharp schizophrenia and the other as persistent schizophrenia.

Patients distressed from schizophrenic disorders can not know whether they are finding any similarities related to the disease and the suspected person who may be actually suffering from this chronic disorder must be posed with queries related to their odd behavior. The behavior of the person who is suffering from the disease differs considerably under different cases.

The person may sense offending smells, hallucinate sounds or be affected in some other way, which can ground horror and nervousness in him/her. The faith that they have beneath the control of one or the other authority is taken into the consideration and is being examined.

The persons who are suffering with some of the concerns seems peculiar to those surrounding them that means varied conditions are examined in the people who are suffering from this disease. These people may expel fearful thoughts or reaction to the hallucinations they are suffering, these normally takes the state of audible sounds where the second person cannot hear that.

There are several things, which may be used to recognize this disease in a person who is affected severely from it. The disease can cause many states of hallucinations, non-linear thoughts (it means wrong way of thinking). Mental distractions that include sadness, nervousness, and bad temper, regularly lead to sharp schizophrenia.

The exciting responses are a bit unusual, for instance Schizophrenic patients may be found laughing at sad news. The existence of chaotic ideas makes the patients feel confused, and normally a schizophrenic patient can not identify whether he/she is at right place at the right time.

Causes of the disease are partly known. The genetic part is known for it, though the reason for the actual occurrence of the disease is not identified. As far as these diseases are concerned, the past experiences tell that they may affect the younger ones soon.

As far as the difficulties are concerned, the people may feel difficulties at the time of pregnancy and at the birth of the child, and these increase the chances of developing schizophrenia.

The disease schizophrenia is reported to be existent in two to four persons in a group of 1000 people at any point of time. So in a life time, on an average, one person may develop Scizophrenia out of a group of 100 people.

Acute schizophrenia is one of the specific categories of Schizophrenic disorders, in which in an otherwise healthy and normal person, (mostly the young adult), indicate all the time more weird activities progressively over a brief interval of time.

This could vary from a few weeks to a month or two. As the name suggests, the patients of Acute Schizophrenia suffer from severe attacks and otherwise lead normal lives in between the attacks. Moreover, it has been reported that only about one fourth of the Schizophrenic patients recover fully from such chronic disorders for good, while another quarter of the folks do suffer from long term illness, though these attacks are not characterized by remission periods. On the other hand, more than half of the Schizophrenic patients tend to exhibit prolonged periods of remission and relapse.

Although, the specific reasons behind the root of this chronic illness are not known precisely, it has been noticed that stressful lifestyle as well as consumption of drugs like cannabis contribute to the sources of this disorder.

Looking at the mean duration of acute episode of Schizophrenic attacks, it has been reported that the patients who have been under medication for over six months, and not suffered from such an acute attack generally get cured pretty fast, and the chances of another severe attack henceforth are minimal.

The symptoms of Acute Schizophrenia include suspiciousness, lack of insight, flat mood, delusions of persecution, auditory hallucinations, thoughts spoken aloud and similar delusions. However, it is not necessary that people suffering from schizophrenia exhibit these symptoms always.

Moving on to the cure of this chronic disorder, the treatment of acute schizophrenia is not well defined, but antipsychotic medicines have been known to prevent the chances of relapse of the disease, while recovering the patient from the recent attack at the same time. But, one must continue the medication for Acute Schizophrenia for at least 4-6months continuously.

Furthermore, cognitive behavioural therapy has also been proven to prevent the relapse of schizophrenic attacks to a good extent, while the drugs like haloperidol, risperidone, trifluoperazine, olanzapine, chlorpromazine, clozapine and the likes of them, have been also considered as good preventive measures.

The bottom-line though, is surely to continue the preventive measures for a longer duration of time, in order to make sure that the disorder doesn’t relapse in future.

Schizophrenia is one of the common yet troublesome mental disorders, in which the disease confuses the patient in terms of similarities. The characteristics of this disorder are taken into a non-public world by faith and percepts, where these can not be realized by the other people.

This disorder can affect 1% of the people and is considered as all from one disease, to the way towards life. The prognosis of this disease is impossible and it is better than that of most of the neuroses, means it is better than most of the other cases.

At least six symptoms are expected to occur, which carry on while examining any hypothesis regarding occurrence of this type of schizophrenia, parting the average behaviors of this disease as a group. But, it is limited to only single person. It is limited to an individual, though its average characteristics are known to have impact on the whole group.

As far as the symptoms are concerned, it is nothing specific, but quite a number of common situations are noticeable. The variations are categorized according to the affected type of disease. Looking at the other factors, positives and negatives may cancel each other, leaving symptoms of same similarities, to only individuals.

Keen and persistent forms of this disorder may have important variations of each of its kind. It is not predictive about the signs and similarities in the findings, and the arrangements are analytical of etiology or next to primary process.

It is prognostic to find whether the disease is at the last stage, or at the method of reaching the last stage or at the both.

Schizophrenia Diagnosis

The survey reports of mind disorders and diagnosis in American Psychiatric Association or DSM formed in 1968, tells that schizophrenia is one of its kind as a serious affecting disorder of mental depth, behaviorally marked by a natural delusion, nervousness disharmony, hallucination, and/or rude character.

The head organization WHO(World Health Organization), made their possible efforts to normalize the opinion of schizophrenia. The center similarities as opened by this research includes most of the hearing problems, voice efforts, expressing the ideas as the people intended to express are,

Hearing hallucinations have been reported to be about 74%, isolation of ideas to about 62%, smoothness of concern with 66%, voice modulation of the diseased with 65%, Ideas told out loudly with 50%, while the delusions of management were reported to be about 48%.

Since the childhood is the initial onset of a person, so the disorder causes the maximum dilemma in the child as well as on brings about adverse effects on the parents too. The educational needs, treatment, and diagnosis may be challenging for the parents and the associated psychiatrics. The childhood schizophrenia is also called as the early on set schizophrenia or childhood-onset schizophrenia. This schizophrenia spectrum disorder changes the whole behavior of the child. As the child thinks that surrounding it are trying to neglect, cheat and kill him. This nature of the child clearly depicts the thinking disorder as the same may not be the case surrounding it. However, the relief for every parent may be the survey result, which shows that the childhood schizophrenia is a rare disorder and may be 1 case out of 40,000 children.

The mental disorder starts at the age of 9 or before the age 13. In comparison to the same disorder among the adults, the schizophrenia in children is very complicated to cure. The treatment should be performed by the expert psychiatrics as the ordinary psychiatrics may take long enough time to diagnosis by doing lot of trial and error during the medication process. However, the delay in diagnosis may be fatal to the child condition.

The family members with all the financial, emotional and educational resources are the helping hand for the kids suffering from childhood schizophrenia. Moreover, the affected child patient may be heading towards the long time chronic mental disorder due to the support services such as the child psychiatric treatment, child psychiatrics in experienced nature, the hospital, child welfare workers and mostly the parents. The family members should not consider the disorder as the burden to them and with sympathy and empathy they should go for the treatment to the experienced psychiatrics as soon as possible.
