Schizophrenia Disorders
The Schizophrenic Disorder is a mental abnormality reflecting various natural symptoms of disorder such as the hallucinations leading to the abnormal hearings, psychosis disorder, though disorder, false beliefs or delusions, emotional arousal, motivation disorder and social and work dysfunctions. The experts reveal that the reason of the disorder may be the environmental situations and the hereditary effect.
The disorder affects the young mass and may continue to dwell for a long duration on them. The onset of the disorder is about 18 on men and 25 for women. Sometimes, the childhood schizophrenic disorder and disorder in age above 70 are also observed. Considering the economical and social disorder, it has been found that the Schizophrenic disorder is a vulnerable disorder on the human beings. However, the disorder affects only the 1 percentage of the population equally both men and women in its worse clutches. If the disorder is not properly treated, the affected persons may detach themselves from their family members and friends and may commence to live on the roads and streets.
The mental health researchers feel that the schizophrenic disorder is a single type of disorder but many experts talk about it as the disorder or a syndrome having a collection of symptoms and disorders. The subtypes of this disorder have been named as the Schizophreniform disorder, Brief psychotic disorder, Schizoaffective disorder, and Schizotypal personality disorder. Depending upon the past activities and behavior of the person, the psychiatric experts start to treat the affected persons. The treatment may be involving the intake of antipsychotic drugs regularly under the supervision of the prescription, rehabilitation process of the patient, family and friends supporting activities, and the use of the psychotherapy.
In case of the severe ness of the disorder, the person is kept in the hospital for a longer duration, in order to treat the patient with utmost care. The severe ness of the Schizophrenic disorder may lead to the homelessness, abuse of substances surrounding the affected person and poverty due to the isolation from the office and business activities. The effective treatment of this disorder starts after observing the patient for one to six months. The problems regarding the concentration in work, remembering, planning, organizing, and problem soling in the works, not focusing the advises and orders from the surrounding people, following certain clips from the television shows, inability in decision making are the most dangerous aspect of the Schizophrenic Disorder. Hence the patient should be medicated with utmost sympathy and empathy.
